Alcester:

SCAM ALERT – DON’T BE TAKEN BY TRANSIENT VENDORS

The Union County States Attorney and Sheriff would like all residents to be aware that transient vendors will start to move about Union County.  Some of these vendors are not licensed to do business in South Dakota.  These same vendors will perpetrate scams, over promise and under deliver, or damage your property as they attempt to perform the contracted services.  Protect yourself  from transient vendors – call the Sheriff or your local police department if you have questions.  For more information on transient vendors click on the following press release link.
