Lisa McInerney, RN: Lisa is the Union County Nurse.  She is available every Tuesday from 9:00-5:00 to give immunizations by appointment only.  She also provides home visits for homebound people.  Lisa is on the Child Protection Team in Union County, is a member of the Tri-State Immunization Coalition, is a member of the Clay/Union County POD, and is co-chair of the Wellness Committee for the Union County Courthouse.


Jen Wechsler, RN, BSN, CLC: Jen is a nurse with the South Dakota Department of Health and the Women, Infant, and Child (WIC) Program. WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutritional support during critical times of growth.  WIC also prescribes food benefits to promote and support the nutritional well-being of the participants.  Jen gives free monthly prenatal education and breastfeeding information for expectant mothers through the Baby Care and WIC Programs.  She also administers Cribs for Kids, a program developed by the South Dakota Departments of Health and Social Services to help families provide a Safe Sleep environment for newborns.  Jen provides counseling and medication for the State of South Dakota’s Tuberculosis Program.


Rhonda Schelling, RDN, LN, CLC: Rhonda is a Registered Dietician with the South Dakota Department of Health and works with the Union County WIC Program.  She provides nutrition counseling for families on WIC.


Rumi Weigel: Office Manager for the Union County Nurses and WIC programs.  She is the point of contact for questions about the Immunization Program or WIC and for appointments.  She is a member of the Clay/Union County POD.
